School Profile
Your School Profile is the central place to keep Orah up-to-date with important details about your school—such as student demographics, term dates, addresses, and more. Keeping this information current helps us support your school more effectively.
To update your School Profile:
Head to the Admin Console and click on School Profile.
2. Click the ✏️ pencil icon on the right-hand side.
3. A pop-up will appear—fill in the relevant fields. Scroll down and make sure to hit Save when you're done!
Auditing
The Auditing tool gives you full visibility into system activity across your school. Whether you're tracking logins, data entries, or user actions, this feature provides a comprehensive audit trail for both staff and students.
To access it:
Go to the Admin Console and select Auditing.
This is especially helpful for monitoring engagement and maintaining accountability. Impersonation sessions are also logged here, with dual attribution showing both who performed the action and who they were acting as.
Impersonation
The Impersonation tool lets you see Orah exactly as any active staff member or student does — no need to ask them for screenshots or descriptions when troubleshooting.
To start an impersonation session:
Go to the Admin Console and open Staff or Students.
Find the person and open their ⋮ menu. If their account is Active, Impersonate appears at the top.
Click it. A new tab opens showing their view of Orah, with an amber "Viewing as [Name]" banner pinned to the top.
Do what you need to — you can take any action they can.
Click Exit Impersonation in the banner when you're done.
Every session and action taken while impersonating is logged in the Audit Report with dual attribution, so it's always clear who performed the action and who they were acting as. The impersonated user's own session keeps running — they aren't interrupted.
Note: Impersonation is available to all school admins with no setup required. It covers active staff and students only — parents and contacts aren't included, and you can't start a second impersonation from inside an existing one.
SMS Alerts
SMS Alerts offer an additional way to communicate during emergencies. When enabled, this feature works alongside Emergency Rolls to send out quick text messages to students and staff—on top of push notifications and emails.
If this feature is active in your account, to check your SMS usage:
Go to the Admin Console and click on SMS Alerts.
You'll see your remaining SMS credit and a list of mobile numbers currently in the system.

Subscription Details
Stay on top of your school's Orah subscription with ease.
To view your subscription:
From the Admin Console, click on Subscription.
You'll be able to review current pricing, contract end dates, previous invoices, and plan details.
