Schools can give parents a web link instead of (or as well as) the Orah Family App.
Sharing the link (staff)
Go to Dismissals and click Secure Parent Link at the top of the page.
Copy the link and send it to families.
Choose how parents receive their one-time sign-in code: by Email or by Text message to the mobile number on file.
If some parents have no email or mobile on file, Orah warns you and lets you view the list.
Signing in (parents)
Open the link, enter your email, and then enter the one-time code you're sent.
What parents can do on the web link
On the web link, parents see a Today's Dismissal tab. From there they can:
see today's pickups
change today's transport (weekly changes need the app)
designate someone else to collect their child today (that person is emailed their code; there's no share option on the web link, so enter an email address)
Note: The web link doesn't have I have arrived or Show QR code to staff. For those, use the Orah Family App.
