Orah has shipped a set of UX improvements to the Staff Android app to make the mobile experience smoother and more reliable for staff managing attendance and passes on the go.
What's improved
Mobile View
The staff-facing screens have been updated for better layout and readability on Android devices. Content now fits more naturally to smaller screen sizes, reducing the need to scroll or zoom to interact with key controls.
Success Toast on Save
A confirmation toast message now appears whenever a staff member saves a change in the app — for example, when submitting a roll, updating a pass, or editing student details. This gives immediate visual confirmation that the action was saved successfully, removing any uncertainty about whether a change went through.
Who this applies to
These improvements apply to staff using the Orah app on Android. No configuration or settings changes are required — the updates are applied automatically.
