Who this is for: IT Admins and Academic/Scheduling Admins at FACTS schools
Applies to: FACTS SIS integration — Groups and Schedules sync
What you might be seeing
A class in FACTS meets at more than one distinct time on the same day (for example, a block schedule where one section has two separate period blocks on a Monday), but in Orah only one of those times shows up for that day.
Why this happens
Orah's FACTS sync assigns each class a single schedule pattern from the FACTS Schedule Template for the current term. For any given calendar day, that pattern resolves to exactly one time block (one row in the schedule template) for the class. This is by design for the standard case — one class, one period, one time per day — but it means that if FACTS has a class configured with more than one meeting block on the same day, only one of those blocks will be reflected in Orah's synced schedule for that day. The other block won't sync as a separate meeting.
This is a different situation from a class that meets on different days at different times (e.g. Monday 9am, Wednesday 2pm) — that is fully supported, since the schedule template can vary the time by day.
What to do
If a class is missing an expected second meeting time on the same day, check the FACTS Schedule Template first — confirm whether FACTS itself has that class assigned to more than one pattern row for that day.
If it does, the class will need to be split into two separate FACTS sections/course offerings (one per meeting block) for both blocks to sync into Orah as distinct meetings. This is a FACTS-side scheduling change, not an Orah setting.
If you're not sure whether this is what you're seeing, contact support@orah.com with the class name and both expected meeting times — we can confirm what FACTS is sending versus what synced.
