If a class timetable is missing in Orah, or a class appears without any meetings, work through the causes below in order. The first one explains the majority of cases.
1. A change made today applies from tomorrow
Orah builds each day's class rolls before the school day begins, and does not rebuild them once the day is underway.
A schedule change or a class-membership change made in your SIS during the day syncs correctly, but it takes effect the following day.
Changes made before roughly 2am local time land the same morning.
A successful sync does not mean today's rolls were rebuilt. Re-running the sync or re-authorising the connection will not change today — neither rebuilds rolls that have already been created.
Workaround for a single class today
If one class needs the corrected student list today:
Start the roll.
Choose Exit and discard the attendance.
Start the roll again — Orah recreates it with the corrected student list.
2. The class has no meetings yet
Orah materialises class meetings 14 days ahead. A class scheduled further out than that will not have meetings yet, and will look empty until it comes inside the 14-day window.
If the class you are checking starts more than two weeks from now, this is expected — check it again closer to the date.
3. The class or section was skipped at sync time
Three conditions cause a class to be skipped silently. In each case the sync still reports success, so the log will not point you at the problem.
The group has zero students in the SIS. A group with no students is skipped entirely, even when it is set to require attendance. Add the students in the SIS and re-run the sync.
The section is not marked "require attendance". Only sections marked to require attendance sync at all. This is the usual reason a period such as Lunch, study hall or a homeroom block is missing from Orah.
The class has no scheduling pattern. A class with no pattern is skipped without a warning — the sync reports success with zero meetings created.
4. The schedule template or pattern is wrong
Orah builds meetings from each class's scheduling pattern together with the selected schedule template. If either is wrong, the class syncs but no meetings are produced at the times you expect.
Confirm the class has a scheduling pattern in your SIS.
Confirm the correct schedule template is selected in your schedule sync settings.
Confirm the term and term start date on the sync match the term you are looking at.
5. Newly created classes
Newly created SIS classes can take up to 24 hours to appear in Orah. If the class was created today, check again tomorrow before troubleshooting further.

The class or section name
The teacher assigned to it
The date the schedule was expected
Whether the class has a scheduling pattern in your SIS
These four details let us find the class in the sync straight away.
