Configure Imported staff in Orah

Use this guide to assign the correct role and house to staff members who have been imported into Orah.

Before you begin

  • You must be logged in as an Admin

  • The staff member must already be imported into Orah


1. Open the Admin Console

  • Log in to Orah and navigate to the Admin Console

  • Click Staff from the left-hand menu

Go to admin console and Click on Staff…


2. Select the Imported Staff Member

  • Locate the staff member you just imported

  • Click on the checkbox

Select the imported staff

3. Open Account Configuration

  • Click More Actions

  • Select Configure account

Click on More Actions


4. Assign a Role

  • From the role dropdown, select the appropriate role
    (e.g. Residential Director, House Parent, Duty Staff)

Select the appropriate role for the staff  (Ex. Residential Director

Select the roll


5. Assign a House

  • Click Select House

  • Choose the correct house (e.g. Adams Dorm)

Click on Select House



6. Save the Configuration

  • Click Configure

  • Review the details and click Confirm

Click on Configure

Click on Confirm


The staff member is now fully configured with:

  • The correct role

  • The correct house assignment

  • Full access based on their permissions

They are ready to use Orah according to their assigned role.
