How to invite staff members to Orah?

In this article, you will read about the ways you can invite a new Staff user to Orah.

Prerequisites: You must have an Admin account with Orah.

​There are two ways to invite the staff to create their Orah account.

(i) Invitation by Roles

(ii) Invitation without Roles (Manual)

​(i) Invite new users with defined Roles
​
You can now create different Roles for your staff members which define permissions basis their roles in the school. It's an easy way to control access for each user

Step 1 - Set up a Role for the user.

You must create a Role with defined permissions and accesses. Click here to read how to create a Staff Role on Orah

Step 2 - Go to the Staff tab under the Admin Console and click on the Invite Section

Step 3 - Type in the Email address of the users you want to invite and -

(i) Define the Login method - SSO or Orah Login

(ii) Select the Role best suited for this user

(iii) Assign House to the user should have access too.

Step 4 - Select the user Permissions

Step 5 - Click on the invite button to send the email invitation

(ii) Invite new users without Roles (Manual)

Step 1 - Go to the Staff Tab under the Admin Console and click on the Invite Tab

Step 2 - Type in the Email address of the users you want to invite and -

(i) Define the Login method - SSO or Orah Login
(ii) Assign House to the user that they should have access to.

Step 3: Select the permissions
​


Step 4: Once, you have set up the account, you can click on the invite button and the email will be sent to the staff member.
