To create a new note via extension

  • Click on the 🌱 pastoral extension button

  • Chrome's side panel will open on the left side by default.

  • Search and add one or multiple student.

  • Similar to the usual pastoral note recording, you can add points, mark note sensitive, change notification, add documents/images.

  • You will be getting βœ… instant confirmation when your pastoral record is saved.

Follow the belowπŸ‘‡ screen for installing and using pastoral extension

☝🏽 Note : Adding pastoral note follows the same rule of accessibility to a normal note addition. Not all students displayed on homeboard would be found on the pastoral extesnion because it depends on additional pastoral access permission. This means that if a user only has permission to view/create notes for 20 students out of 100, they will only see the names of those 20 students. Also remember an admin can further distinguish access of a staff member between viewing and creating notes as shown below, read more about access here.

The browsers extension is compatible with Google Chrome at the moment. We would be releasing an extension on Microsoft Teams in the upcoming updates.
Hope this was helpful. If you have any further questions, just click the blue chat icon at the bottom right corner of this page, we will help you navigate through it. Cheers !
