Orah Pastoral Chrome browser extension allows schools to create a pastoral record for one or multiple students without navigating to the Orah webpage. Reducing switching between tabs while working on chrome browser.

Installing the Chrome extension
Open the Chrome web store and search for 'Orah Nurture' OR
Directly click on the link as shown in the pastoral banner as below
Click on the 'Add to Chrome' button
A window will open, then click on the 'Add extension' button
Once the extension is installed, you will see a new button π± on the top right corner of your browser. If you can't see the extensions, follow the 3 dots on top right corner of Chrome browser > Extensions > Mange Extensions
Adding Pastoral Note via Extension
To create a new note via extension
Click on the π± pastoral extension button
Chrome's side panel will open on the left side by default.
Search and add one or multiple student.
Similar to the usual pastoral note recording, you can add points, mark note sensitive, change notification, add documents/images.
You will be getting β instant confirmation when your pastoral record is saved.

βπ½ Note : Adding pastoral note follows the same rule of accessibility to a normal note addition. Not all students displayed on homeboard would be found on the pastoral extesnion because it depends on additional pastoral access permission. This means that if a user only has permission to view/create notes for 20 students out of 100, they will only see the names of those 20 students. Also remember an admin can further distinguish access of a staff member between viewing and creating notes as shown below, read more about access here.
The browsers extension is compatible with Google Chrome at the moment. We would be releasing an extension on Microsoft Teams in the upcoming updates.
