âđ˝ This article is about editing an individual pass that already exists â correcting the actual start and end times after the fact. It does not cover configuring a pass type. Pass now has a separate section to display and edit the actual start and end time.
Pass Timeline
A new timeline showing scheduled and actual start and end time
Auto end pass will show '(auto end)' annotated on the pass
If a pass is active it will show 'Still Active' on the timeline
There can be various scenarios, below are a few of them
Scenario 1 - Actual start and end time is equal to scheduled time - Pass ended
Scenario 2 - Actual start and end time is equal to scheduled time - Pass still active
Scenario 3 - Actual start time is before the scheduled time, without scheduled end time
Scenario 4 - Actual start time is after the scheduled time, with scheduled end time
Scenario 5 - Actual end time is before the scheduled end time
Scenario 6 - Actual end time is after the scheduled end time
Scenario 7 - Actual start and end time is after the scheduled time has passed
Editing Actual Start & End Time
Open the pass you want to edit
Look for the actual start and end time section below
Click on the edit button
Change the date and time of the pass by using the date and time picker
Editing a Scheduled Pass
A pass that is scheduled will not have any Active Start and End time window
Editing actual time does not apply to a scheduled state pass
Editing an Active Pass
Can change start & end date to a past time
Editing actual end time for an active pass would always be saving and ending the pass immediately (this is the only difference editing between active and pass pass)
Editing the actual start time on the pass could be saved without editing
Cannot change start & end time to a future time when pass is active
Start time should always be earlier than the end time
Changing the actual time of an active pass would also reflect on the Roll Records
Editing a Past Pass (already ended pass)
Can change start & end date to a past time
Cannot change start & end time to a future time when pass is active
Start time should always be earlier than the end time
Since the pass has already ended, editing the pass would just require to be saved

âđ˝Note - Editing the pass's scheduled start and return time (not the actual start/end time on this page) does not end an active pass or change its status. If the pass type has an automatic end-time/auto sign-in rule, the active window's end time will update to match the new scheduled return time; otherwise the pass simply stays active until manually signed in.
