Yes — Automated Attendance is available in the Orah Checkpoint – Day app on both iOS and Android. Scheduled rolls start and end automatically at the configured time, but students still need to scan their QR code or tap an external card at the checkpoint to be marked present or late.

What do I need to set this up?

  1. Your school must be using Full Attendance Management.

  2. An Automated Attendance checkpoint must be configured for the location, with auto-start/auto-end scheduling set on the Roll Type.

Who can do this?

Setting this up requires admin access to Roll Types and Checkpoints. Once configured, any student can check in at the kiosk — no extra permissions needed.

What happens if a student doesn't scan in?

The roll still starts and ends automatically on schedule. A student who never scans keeps the roll's default status (typically absent) until a staff member updates it manually.
