Submitting a Pass on behalf of your student
Web Version
Select your + icon and click on the new pass option
Select your school and student and then pick the type of pass you wish to apply for
Please note: if you do not see any pass types listed this might be due to the school's settings. Please contact them directly to confirm this.
Fill out the form with as much detail as possible and click request.
Once you have submitted your pass request, you will be able to view this pass within your account. When the pass has been reviewed by the school, you will receive an email notification with their decision. Your student will also be notified that you have submitted a request on their behalf.

Swipe left to navigate to the + New page, then select New Pass
Select the type of pass you wish to apply for
Fill out the pass form and tap request
Once you have submitted your pass request, you will be able to view this pass within your account. When the pass has been reviewed by the school, you will receive an email notification with their decision. Your student will also be notified that you have submitted a request on their behalf.
Endorsing a Pass
Orah gives you the ability to endorse your students pass through your email notification or within your account. Please see below for these steps.
Endorsing via the email notification
Open the email notification and review the pass details, click view pass request.
This will prompt a new window to open where you will be able to review the request without signing into your account. At the bottom of the page, you will see there is endorse and decline option, click one of these options.
Once you have endorsed or declined the pass request the school will be notified of your decision.
When your child submits a pass request you can endorse or decline the pass request within your Orah web app.

Endorsing within your account
When you are logged into your account, click on your pass icon and select your Pending My Endorsement option
Click to expand on the request
Review the pass details, then at the very bottom of the request, click Endorse or Decline

Review the pass details, scroll to the bottom, then click endorse or decline

FAQs
Unable to approve a pass?
If you're struggling to approve a pass because the button is greyed out, we recommend checking the history and notes section. If you see that a staff member at the school has approved this pass it means that the final approval has been given to this student on this selected pass.
If you are wondering why your endorsement has been bypassed, we suggest contacting the school.
βWhy can't I see another parent/ guardian request?
For potential custodial reasons, we restrict parents and guardians from reviewing another parent/ guardian's request. This is to overall protect your student's information. If you have any questions about this, please let our team know.
