You can click on the new post button available on the right-hand screen of the activity feed view, and a new pop-up with the post editor opens.

Once fulfilled with the information you require by the end of the shift, you can add them as fields and click on the save as template button with the title, "End of the shift report"
Posts can be divided into sections to help better categorise information.
