Getting Started with Orah — Admin Guide

A step-by-step onboarding guide for new school administrators setting up and managing Orah.

Who this is for: School administrators, IT leads, or whoever is setting up and managing Orah for your school.

Time to complete: Work through these steps across your first 1–2 weeks. You don't need to do it all at once.

Before you begin: If you haven't been invited to Orah yet, ask your school's Orah contact or reach out to our support team.

Step 1 — Get oriented

Start by getting familiar with the interface before you configure anything.

Step 6 — Set up alerts & notifications

Step 7 — Configure emergency rolls

Emergency rolls are your accountability tool in a lockdown or evacuation. Set these up before you need them.

Step 8 — Onboard parents & students

Step 9 — Reporting & insights

Step 10 — Prepare for the new school year
