Why Deletion Might Be Necessary In Orah, live events have limitations and cannot be edited once they begin. This ensures consistency and reliability for all participants. In such cases, deletion and recreation allow adjustments to details like event timing and configurations before making the event live again.
From your left-hand navigation menu, click Activities → Events.
This will open a list of all current and past events.
Step 1: Go to events under Activities
Step 2: Select the Event
Locate the event you wish to delete. Click on the event name to open the Event Details window.
Step 3: Access Event Options
In the Event Details window, click on the three-dot menu (⋯) in the upper-right corner.
From the dropdown, choose Delete Event.
Step 4: Confirm Deletion
A confirmation window will appear, giving you two options:
Delete Event – Deletes only the event while keeping all associated passes untouched.
Delete Passes and Event – Deletes both the event and all associated passes linked to it.Consider choosing 'Delete Event' if the passes are still useful for tracking or administrative purposes. Alternatively, select 'Delete Passes and Event' when a complete reset is required.
Choose the appropriate option based on your needs.
Once confirmed, the action cannot be undone.
⚠️ Tip: If you need to update details such as the event time or other configurations for a live event, deletion and recreation are necessary as live events in Orah cannot be edited. Before deleting, ensure that all updated details are finalized, and double-check everything before publishing the new event to prevent any repeated edits.
